sometimes in the dark

sometimes in the dark
I light up some candles
I'm calling my friends
pouring red wine

since I lit up the candles
sitting there in the dark
scare away all the demons
filling up in my head

And if I don't do this
they ll come back at me
they ll come back and hunt me
like when I was a little kid

this is a never ending story
this is a fairytale from the past
once my grandma told me
I should be aware for the creatures in the dark

once a while I got to do this
once a while, I got to empty my mind
once a while I have to look inside and see what's to be cleared off


And if I don't do this
the creatures will come after me
if I don't do this
running around like crazy

sometimes in the dark sometimes  
sometimes alone sometimes with friends

all the interesting verses are lost in my head
imagine the chaos that takes control over there
it's like a black hole
sucking up everything that comes into its reach
