The space in between. part I

My body I examined
And found so dear
A few gray hair
But pretty healthy
Eyes so wealthy
Beautifully wrinkled around and wonderfully covered by a cloud

Lips slightly looking downward
Neck resting forward
Chest moving inwards

The arms are lazy
But the fingers delicate and play full still
A belly full of emotions within
A base hesitant and clumsy
Strong but weary knees and thirsty feet of moving stretching     for loving
The world
Longing of touching the variety of grounds and the seven seas

I forgot to mention
some scratches
a fall
Marks of clumsiness or need for care
marks of play
A frightened cat
an angry sister

hair growing
tears flowing
voice cracking and mending the pieces of the heart

Right side
left side
sleeping side
what a pride
sticking to inside
dreaming
