what's happening outside of the frame of a picture?

what 's happening outside of the frame of a picture?

A picture is a tiny part of a whole,
just as the senses frame of what a human being can perceive out of the whole universe.
Even a perception frame of what one can perceive out of another's universe, it is always just a tiny bit of piece, compared to the whole image, if one looks through the senses only.

And what else is there ?

one of my favorite questions.
ok, what else is there?

Let us look beyond the picture's frame.
We have looked enough in the picture.
We can guess it might be similar also around the picture, but not necessarily.

As a photographer I have always desired to take as much as possible information of what i see in a picture, and not just the main subject, but also its surroundings.
Similarly when I tell a story, i want to give all the background information so that the audience knows as much as possible in order to judge for themselves and form their own opinions, but still, this is only a part of the picture, limited by one's own frame and only.

We are just a frame, therefore we cannot see beyond.

or can we?

What else is there?

Beyond the frame.
Once I attended a conference in the university that was just about framings!
That was amazing!
All kind of different materials where presented and discussed, seen through their frames.
And most of us, give so much attention of what is in the frame, but what about the frame itself?

Let us look at the frame.
What kind of frame it is, what kind of lens we often say, what methodology, what technique, how do you see me through your frame? By frame I also mean belief systems and conditioning, which are a very common way of framing.

And what do you see beyond the frame?

A step beyond.

Let us go a step beyond the frame and the picture, and even the sound. If it was about sound, we could say, an instrument, or an octave, or the pitch. Excuse me I do not know much about sound, but there are ways to frame it as well,  even in timing, and intensity. I guess it is all about the main frame we all have, the human
spectrum of experience which is so little really!

Then, there is also the individual experience and psychological frames, that interact with each other.

Plenty of things to explore and discover, with curiosity and awe for this human experience.

I now let go of the need to frame and experience and just be.
just another frame on this wall.

What else is there?
